Why is the Kia ProCeed's Lane Keep Assist not working properly?

I recently purchased a Kia ProCeed and noticed that the Lane Keep Assist feature is not functioning as it should. Whenever I try to engage it, the car doesn't stay centered in the lane and even veers off slightly to the right. I'm not sure what could be causing this issue. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is there a way to fix it?

Samantha, it's possible that the Lane Keep Assist sensor may be dirty or obstructed. Try cleaning it with a damp cloth and see if that improves the performance of the feature.

It could also be a calibration issue. Have you tried resetting the Lane Keep Assist system? This can usually be done through the car's settings menu.

Another possibility is that the Lane Keep Assist feature is simply not compatible with the road you're driving on. Some roads have faded or inconsistent lane markings, which can confuse the system. In this case, it's best to turn the feature off and rely on your own driving skills.
