Why is my Kia Picanto making a strange noise when I accelerate?

I recently purchased a Kia Picanto and I've noticed that whenever I accelerate, there's a strange noise coming from the engine. It's not a constant noise, but it happens whenever I press on the gas pedal. What could be causing this and what should I do to fix it?

It's possible that there could be an issue with your exhaust system. If there is a leak or damage, it could be causing the strange noise. I recommend taking your Kia Picanto to a trusted mechanic to have it checked out.

Another possibility could be that your serpentine belt needs to be replaced. Over time, the belt can wear out and cause strange noises when it slips or becomes loose. Again, I suggest taking it to a mechanic to be inspected.

If you recently had an oil change, it's possible that the wrong type of oil was used or that there was not enough oil put in. This can also cause strange noises from the engine. Check your oil levels and consult a mechanic if necessary.
