How do I turn off automatic engine stop/start in a Kia Sorento?

I find the engine stop/start feature in my Kia Sorento to be very annoying, especially when driving in stop-and-go traffic. Is there a way to disable or turn off this feature?

You can easily turn off the automatic engine stop/start feature in your Kia Sorento by pressing the 'Eco' button on your dashboard. This will disable the feature and prevent the engine from turning off when you come to a stop. Keep in mind, however, that this may decrease your fuel efficiency.

If you frequently drive in heavy traffic, it may be beneficial to keep the engine stop/start feature on in order to save fuel. However, if you find it too bothersome, you can also bring your Kia Sorento to a mechanic who can permanently disable the feature for you.
