How do I check my tire pressure on my Kia Soul?

I've recently bought a Kia Soul and want to make sure my tires are properly inflated. Can you provide instructions on how to do so and why it's important?

To check your tire pressure, first locate the settings menu on your dashboard. From there, navigate to the tire pressure section. Using a tire pressure gauge, remove the valve cap from your tire and press the gauge firmly on the valve stem. The gauge should give you a reading - compare this to the recommended tire pressure for your Kia Soul (usually found in your owner's manual). If the tire pressure is too low, use an air compressor to fill the tire to the correct level.

Maintaining proper tire pressure is important for a few reasons. Firstly, it ensures optimal handling and performance of your vehicle. Secondly, it promotes even tire wear, which can extend the lifespan of your tires. Lastly, it can improve fuel efficiency, saving you money in the long run.

I would recommend checking your tire pressure at least once a month. However, if you notice any unusual handling or feel like your tires are losing pressure more frequently, it's a good idea to check them more often. Always remember to check your tire pressure before embarking on a long road trip.
