First, you will need to identify which ignition coil is causing the issue. This can be done by using a scan tool or by manually testing each coil with a multimeter. Once you have identified the faulty coil, you will need to replace it. Make sure to use a high-quality replacement coil to ensure long-lasting performance.

In addition to replacing the faulty coil, it is also important to check the spark plugs and spark plug wires. These components work closely with the ignition coil and can also cause issues if they are worn or damaged. It is recommended to replace all the spark plugs and wires if they have not been changed recently.

To avoid encountering this issue in the future, make sure to regularly maintain your Kia Ceed according to the manufacturer's recommended schedule. This includes replacing the spark plugs, wires, and ignition coils at the specified intervals. Additionally, avoid using cheap or low-quality fuel, as this can also contribute to ignition coil failure.
