Hi Jack, one way to check the battery of your Kia Niro is by using a digital multimeter. Make sure the car is turned off and then connect the multimeter to the battery terminals. The reading should be around 12.6 volts, if it's significantly lower than that, it could indicate a low battery charge. Also, check for any corrosion on the terminals as this can affect the battery's performance.

Hey Jack, another way to check the battery is by using a battery load tester. This will simulate a high electrical load on the battery and will give you an accurate reading of its state. If the reading is below 50%, then it's time to replace the battery. Also, make sure the terminals are clean and tight to ensure proper contact.

Hi Jack, if you don't have access to a multimeter or a battery load tester, a simple visual inspection can also help determine the condition of the battery. Look for any swelling, leaks, or cracks on the battery case. If you notice any of these signs, it's time to replace the battery as it could be damaged and unsafe to use.
