It is likely that the ticking sound is coming from your engine's lifters. This can be caused by a lack of proper lubrication or buildup of dirt and debris. It is important to have this looked at by a mechanic to prevent any potential damage to your engine.

I had a similar issue with my Kia Picanto and it ended up being a loose heat shield causing the ticking sound. Have a mechanic check for any loose or damaged heat shields around your engine.

The ticking sound could also be due to low oil pressure. Make sure to regularly check your oil levels and keep them at the recommended level to prevent any engine problems.
