I have noticed that my Kia Stonic is having trouble starting the engine. It cranks but won't start. What could be the possible causes for this and how can I fix it?
ReplyOne possible cause could be a faulty starter motor. It is responsible for cranking the engine and if it is malfunctioning, the engine won't start. It is advisable to take your car to a mechanic and get it checked and replaced if necessary.
Another reason could be a weak or dead battery. Check the battery terminals for any corrosion and make sure they are tightly connected. If the battery is old, consider replacing it with a new one.
A clogged fuel filter can also prevent the engine from starting. If it hasn't been changed in a while, it may be restricting the flow of fuel. Get it replaced and see if it solves the issue.
