Why is my Kia Rio making a clicking noise when accelerating?

I recently noticed that my Kia Rio is making a clicking noise whenever I accelerate. It seems to be coming from under the hood. What could be the cause of this and how can I fix it?

One possible cause for the clicking noise could be a faulty CV joint. It's important to get this checked and repaired as soon as possible, as a damaged CV joint can lead to more serious problems with your car's drivetrain.

Another potential cause could be a loose belt or pulley in the engine. This could be remedied by tightening or replacing the affected component.

Based on the symptoms you described, it's also possible that there is an issue with the engine's valve train. I would recommend bringing your Rio to a certified mechanic for diagnosis and repair.
