Why does my Kia Sportage stall when I come to a stop?

I've noticed that whenever I'm at a stop light or stop sign, my Kia Sportage seems to stutter or stall before it finally accelerates. What could be causing this issue and how can I fix it?

This could be due to a dirty or faulty mass air flow sensor. I recommend taking your Sportage to a trusted mechanic to have it cleaned or replaced if necessary. In the meantime, try accelerating slowly when coming to a stop to see if that helps.

Another possibility is a clogged or faulty fuel filter. Try replacing the fuel filter and see if that improves the stalling issue. It's also a good idea to regularly clean and maintain your car's air filter for optimal performance.

It's also important to check your spark plugs and ignition system. Old or worn out spark plugs can cause stalling and rough idling. Have a mechanic check these components and replace them if necessary.
