Why does my Kia Sorento have a hard time starting in cold weather?

Recently, my Kia Sorento has been having trouble starting in cold weather. The engine turns over, but it takes several tries for it to actually start. It has never had this issue before and I'm not sure what could be causing it. Any advice on how to fix this?
