Hi, Jenna. The most common cause of engine misfires in a Kia Sorento is a faulty spark plug. I would recommend checking and replacing the spark plugs if necessary. Additionally, it could also be due to a problem with the ignition coil or fuel injector. It's best to get a diagnostic test done at a trusted mechanic to pinpoint the exact cause of the issue. Hope this helps!

Hey Jenna, another possible cause of engine misfires in a Kia Sorento is a clogged fuel filter. Over time, debris and contaminants can build up in the filter, restricting fuel flow to the engine. I would suggest getting the fuel filter replaced to see if that resolves the issue. Good luck!

Hi there, Jenna. Low fuel pressure can also lead to engine misfires in a Kia Sorento. Make sure to check the fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge and if it's below the recommended range, it's likely due to a failing fuel pump. In that case, the fuel pump would need to be replaced. Best of luck!
