What does the Kia Soul's Drive Mode Select feature do?

I've been hearing about the Drive Mode Select feature in the Kia Soul, but I'm not sure what it actually does. Can someone explain it to me in simple terms?

The Drive Mode Select feature allows you to customize your driving experience by adjusting the car's acceleration, steering, and engine response. It includes three modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport.

In Eco mode, the car prioritizes fuel efficiency by adjusting the shift points and throttle response. Normal mode is the default setting and provides a balance between fuel efficiency and performance. Sport mode, on the other hand, enhances the car's performance by providing a more responsive driving experience.

Personally, I like using Sport mode when I'm driving on the highway or in more challenging road conditions. It gives me better control and makes the car feel more powerful. However, if you're looking to save on gas, I would recommend switching to Eco mode for your daily commute.
