What does the 'ISG' button in my Kia Ceed do?

I just bought a Kia Ceed and noticed a button labeled 'ISG' on the dashboard. What is this button for and how does it work?

The 'ISG' button stands for 'Idle Stop and Go' and it is designed to help improve fuel efficiency by automatically turning off the engine when the car is not in motion.

You can manually turn the ISG feature on or off by pressing the button. Keep in mind that some conditions like high temperatures or a low battery level may prevent the feature from functioning.

I highly recommend using the ISG feature whenever possible to save on gas and reduce emissions. However, if you notice any unusual behavior or excessive engine restarts, it may be best to have it checked by a mechanic.
