How to fix a faulty engine in a Kia Ceed?

I recently bought a used Kia Ceed and noticed that the engine is making strange noises. The car is still under warranty, but I'm not sure if this issue is covered. What could be causing this problem and how can I fix it?

It's possible that the timing belt or pulley is causing the noise. It's important to get this checked by a certified mechanic before attempting any repairs.

Another common issue in Kia Ceed engines is a faulty crankshaft position sensor. This can cause the engine to make weird noises and perform poorly. I recommend taking your car to a Kia dealership for diagnosis and repair.

Check your engine oil level and add more if needed. Low oil levels can also cause strange noises in the engine. If the problem persists, take your car to a trusted mechanic for inspection.
