How often should the timing belt be replaced in a Kia Ceed?

I recently bought a Kia Ceed and I'm wondering how often I should replace the timing belt. Is there a specific mileage or time frame that I should follow? Thanks in advance for your help!

It is recommended to replace the timing belt every 60,000-100,000 miles or every 5-7 years, whichever comes first. However, it's always best to check your owner's manual for the exact recommendation for your specific model and year.

I own a Kia Ceed and I personally like to err on the side of caution and get the timing belt replaced every 60,000 miles, even if it's not yet recommended by the manufacturer.

If you notice any signs of wear or damage on your timing belt, it's best to have it replaced immediately. Waiting too long can lead to engine damage and expensive repairs.
