Engine Won't Start After Replacing Battery

I recently replaced the battery in my Kia Sportage, and now the engine won't start. I checked all the connections and they seem to be secure. What could be causing this issue?

Double check that all connections are tight and secure. A loose connection could be causing the issue.

You may have accidentally disconnected or damaged a wire while replacing the battery. Check for any loose or damaged wires.

Make sure the battery is fully charged. A dead battery could be preventing the engine from starting.

When replacing the battery, did you happen to disconnect the battery terminal from the fuse box? If so, check to make sure all the fuses are still intact.

Have you tried jump starting the car? It's possible the new battery is defective.
